When it comes to shopping within the Boots Mini Club range, the What The Kids Wore team has over 10 years experience. With myself heading up the team with the oldest child, it is somewhere that I have headed time and time again with each new addition to the family. In fact, there is always that little tinge of sadness when they finally outgrow the range (I must try to convince the Boots Mini Club range to go up at least age 10). With each new season, they have a wide variety of styles and prints available with the AW17 range featuring a celebrity collaboration – FEARNE by Fearne Cotton.
As you’d expect, Fearne by Fearne Cotton is full of fashion clout and cool. The collection is based on items that Fearne herself loves, such as faux fur coats, bombers and low slung trousers. With the range suitable for children aged 9 months, up to six years.
As a mum of two, Fearne is all too familiar with the need for practical style too. She’s therefore worked closely with the team to create garments that, as with all mini club clothes, are easy to put on (and easy to whip off), easy to wash and long-lasting.

This is the first time mini club has collaborated with a celebrity. Explaining the partnership is Head of mini club, Margaret Kirkpatrick,
“We have all long admired Fearne’s gorgeous style, but we also admire her approach to being a mum. She puts such fun, joy and energy into everything she does. That’s what we try to do with the mini club brand – we aim to create clothes that allow kids to enjoy being kids: to have fun, to be comfy and to look gorgeous.
“The mini club team have really enjoyed working with Fearne, and we are delighted to have had the opportunity to collaborate on such an exciting partnership”.
With both Julie and myself along with Miss M and Piglet, we were invited down to London for the press launch of the new FEARNE by Fearne Cotton range. Featuring an overall unisex range with a mixture of greys, blacks and motivational quotes. It is an empowering range that will be sure to be a popular choice this Autumn. With myself and Julie falling in love with the teal bird print dress and tunic top available.
Alongside the everyday comfortable style clothing (everything has been designed with comfort and practicalities in mind, as you would expect with the range coming from a parent), there is also a selection of more dressier items. Such as a beautiful gold sparkly dress with a large black bow which I’m sure needs to be added to Piglet’s wardrobe.
