In this lovely weather that we’ve been having, it’s been so nice to be able to dress Little M in rompers and dresses; something a little lighter than the heavy tights and jumpers that she’d been wearing through the winter. I think Little M has been enjoying it too, as she seems to like playing with her dresses, either while she’s wearing them (she flaps the skirt!) or otherwise!
George at Asda Broderie Anglaise Hem Dress // What we love…
This dress has such gorgeous detail, from the Broderie Anglaise in the hem, to the button detail down the back, and the layer of netting in the skirt. The netting layer is sandwiched between the top skirt and a bottom layer of cotton, giving the skirt volume while keeping it comfortable to wear. The dress also has a gorgeous pleated detail around the collar.
George at Asda Broderie Anglaise Hem Dress // The practicalities…
This shell and lining of the dress are 100% cotton, with a 100% polyester mesh, which means that it’s lovely and soft and washes easily at 40 degrees. M is 12 months and still in 9-12 clothes, but we sized up on this occasion to 12-18 months and you can see that it’s rather too big for her at the moment, so I’d recommend sticking to your usual size.
George at Asda Broderie Anglaise Hem Dress // Where can I get one?
You can buy the Broderie Anglaise Hem Dress in most Asda stores or online at George at Asda. This dress is usually priced from £10, but you can find it on sale for a bargain £6 at the moment if you’re quick!
